We do this because we genuinely like making things. There’s a particular satisfaction in taking a file — or a rough sketch, or a part someone drew on the back of a napkin — and turning it into something real you can hold in your hand. That’s the whole reason MI CNC Parts exists: we’d rather be the shop that figures out how to make your part than the one that tells you why it can’t.

We’re a small shop, and we keep it that way on purpose — but small doesn’t mean one person winging it. When you send a job, real people look at it: a team of mechanical engineers and machinists who can jump into a conversation, help with the design, and make sure your part is right. You get the attention of a small shop with the depth of people who actually know parts.

And we’ll tell you what we see. If a tolerance is tighter than it needs to be, or a feature is going to run up the cost for no real reason, we’ll say so before you spend the money — not after. Honest feedback up front saves you time and saves you money. That’s just how we work.
