MI CNC Parts is a small Michigan shop. Send us a file (or just a rough idea) and we'll quote it, give you honest feedback, and get it made.
MI CNC Parts is a Michigan-based business that gets custom CNC parts quoted, made, inspected, and shipped for engineers, builders, and product teams. Send a STEP file and a PDF print, or a sketch or a new sample part, and a real person quotes it in 24-48 hours. There is no minimum order and one piece is a normal job. Every part inspected against your print before it ships. Delivery is Rush 1-2 weeks, Standard 4-6 weeks, or Extended 6-8 weeks for jobs that aren’t time-sensitive.
Who We Are
Small on purpose.
We do this because we genuinely like making things. There’s a particular satisfaction in taking a file (or a rough sketch, or a part someone drew on the back of a napkin) and turning it into something real you can hold in your hand. That’s the whole reason MI CNC Parts exists: we’d rather be the shop that figures out how to make your part than the one that tells you why it can’t.
We’re a small shop based in Michigan, and we keep it that way on purpose, but small doesn’t mean winging it. When you send a job, real people look at it: a team of mechanical engineers and machinists who can jump into a conversation, help with the design, and make sure your part is right. You get the attention of a small shop with the depth of people who actually know parts.
The person reading your files is Evan. That’s the email address at the bottom of this page and the phone number next to it: the same person who quotes your job, flags anything on the drawing worth a second look, and stays with it through delivery. When a part needs more eyes than one, that’s what the team above is for.
And we’ll tell you what we see. If a tolerance is tighter than it needs to be, or a feature is going to run up the cost for no real reason, we’ll say so before you spend the money, not after. Honest feedback up front saves you time and saves you money. That’s just how we work.
Engineering & Design
More than making the part.
A part doesn’t always start as a finished file. A lot of the time the design needs work first, and that’s where the team comes in. The full list is on the services page.
CAD Modeling
Starting from a sketch, a new sample part, or photos? The CAD is quoted as its own line, and you get a clean 3D model and print that are ready to quote and make.
Design Feedback
A free design review comes with every quote. A person reads the design you send and flags what will cost more and what may not work, with ways to simplify it.
Design Changes & Fit
Need an existing model adjusted for a better fit, tighter tolerances, or a function change? Send it over. Working the changes into the model is quoted as its own line.
Reverse Engineering
Have a part but no files? Send a new sample part and the team measures it and recreates it as a model and a drawing, quoted as its own line. The sample ships back with the parts, or on its own when the job ends in files only.
Rapid Prototyping
Test an idea before you commit to a run. We’ll make a prototype so you can check fit and function, then refine from there.
