What we make.
Six ways to get your parts made. Whatever the process, it's the same deal: send your files, we'll quote it, and once you approve we'll make it and ship it.
These CNC machining capabilities cover six processes: CNC milling and turning for most custom parts, wire EDM for hardened steel, laser cutting for flat parts from sheet and plate, precision grinding, with ground features quoted to ±0.0001 in, and custom screws, bolts and studs to your print. Typical machined tolerance is ±0.005 in. No minimum order. Any file type works; a STEP file and PDF drawing are ideal. A real person quotes it in 24-48 hours. Machined parts ship Rush 1-2 weeks, Standard 4-6 weeks, or Extended 6-8 weeks.

If you would rather start from the part than the process, the custom machined parts index lists the shapes that come through most. Flat parts that need a second operation (tapped holes, a bend, hardware, a machined face) are quoted as one order on the laser-cut parts page, and the tooling that holds or checks a part has its own door at custom fixtures.
Limits
What is not quoted.
The ones that come up most often, said plainly so nobody waits on a quote that was never going to come.
- Stampings, castings, forgings and springs.
- Machined replacements for parts that were originally cast. A new billet part to your own design is quoted, and parts machined from cast bronze bar or cast tooling plate are normal work.
- Extrusion and tube fabrication.
- Laser-cut tube. Laser cutting is flat sheet and plate only.
- Firearms, defense (DoD) work, and ITAR or EAR-controlled work.
- Stock material sales. We are not a distributor: plate, bar and sheet are not sold as stock material.
- Anodizing-only, passivation-only and powder-coat-only jobs on a part you already have. A finish is quoted only with parts machined or laser-cut here. A finish called out on the print is quoted with the part.
Tolerances
Tight costs more.
Buy it where it matters.
Slide the band tighter and watch the fit close up. The plain-voice version of the tradeoff every drawing makes.

At ±.005″ a standard milled or turned surface does the job. Parts go together easily, and it is right for most features.
