01 Will you take an order for a single part?
Yes. One piece is a normal order here: no minimum, no minimum-charge surprise hidden in the quote.
02 How fast can a prototype iteration turn around?
Quotes come back in 24-48 hours, and rush parts can ship in 1-2 weeks. Standard lead time is 4-6 weeks if the schedule allows.
03 What files do you need for a prototype quote?
A STEP or STP model is the minimum; add a PDF drawing if any dimension is critical. STL and SLDPRT work too. Early-stage and missing a drawing? Send the model and note the fits that matter.
04 Can you do a bridge run before production tooling?
Yes, that’s a sweet spot. Validate with one-offs, then bridge with 25-500 pieces from the same drawing while production tooling comes online.
05 What materials make sense for prototypes?
Aluminum is the usual default: fast to quote and close to final properties for most hardware. Steel, stainless, titanium, and engineering plastics are all available when the design calls for them.
