Materials

What we work in.

Most common metals and plastics, plus the usual finishes. If your part calls for something specific, send it over — odds are we can quote it.

Metals

Common metals.

Aluminum 6061 and 7075. Light, machines easily, a solid all-around choice.
Stainless Steel 303, 304, and 316. Corrosion-resistant and strong.
Steel Mild, alloy, and tool steels (A2, D2, O1). Strong and hard-wearing.
Titanium Grade 5 and others. High strength at low weight.
Brass C360 and more. Easy to machine — good for fittings and fixtures.
Copper Excellent conductivity for electrical parts.
Bronze A good pick for bushings, bearings, and wear parts.

Plastics

Engineering plastics.

Delrin / Acetal Stiff, low-friction, and dimensionally stable.
Nylon Tough and wear-resistant.
PEEK High-performance — heat- and chemical-resistant.
Polycarbonate Impact-resistant and optically clear.
PTFE / Teflon Very low friction and chemically inert.
UHMW Tough, slick, and abrasion-resistant.
ABS Easy to machine — good for prototypes and housings.
Garolite / G-10 A strong, rigid composite and good electrical insulator.

Finishes
